Thank you for your interest in the Elm Street Sportsman Association (ESSA)!  We are very happy to provide you with all the information you need in order to be fully informed of our mission, purpose and goals.  We encourage you to become a community partner of our outstanding organization.
ESSA is a 501(c) (3) not-for-profit organization whose mission is to address the social and economic needs of citizens in the local community while working to guide, foster and support youth towards STARS (Striving To Achieve Real Success).
Founded in 2014, ESSA has improved and contributed to a better quality of life for hundreds of children and their families.  Some of the programs and activities include the following:

Community Events– These events include back-to-school rallies where students are empowered to succeed and are provided school supplies, Thanksgiving Baskets for needy families, Team sporting events, Christmas/holiday celebrations with toy giveaways, etc.  These events are free and open to the public.

Education Support – In addition to providing school supplies, ESSA is planning to offer homework assistance and test preparation support.  Mentorship opportunities are underway as well as assistance in completing college applications.  Professional educators and community leaders will provide their expertise.

Community Advocacy – ESSA is committed to helping plan for the future, thus creating a better quality of life for all.  There will be community-wide workshops aimed at educating on home ownership, connecting with social services, communicating effectively with law enforcement, etc.
